URBAN MENUS in India

URBAN MENUS is now being rolled out globally. This takes us to India and the current project:

The Austrian URBAN MENUS team will carry out a broad market study including at least 4 case studies in different parts of Pune and surrounding areas by August 2022. To this purpose, URBAN MENUS will involve locally: Prof. Asmita Joshi from the Dr. Bhanuben Nanavati College of Architecture for Women, Pune (offering students and young graduates the possibility to participate), architects, stakeholders from case studies, market and scientific experts for the market study and inputs for adaptation of URBAN MENUS India.

URBAN MENUS in India Timeschedule

1. Warm-up: Desk research and interviews with stakeholders of our target groups but also with experts in the field/technology and business sectors to define the basic framework conditions for application and marketing of URBAN MENUS.

2. Concrete case studies with stakeholders, consisting each case of think-tank meetings, to identify potentials and define problems to be solved, visioning workshops separately per case study and a final round in which an orientation guide is presented, which the local stakeholders can use as a basis for further detailed planning.

3. Paradigm shift: The aim here is to disseminate the findings from the case studies and thereby also trigger a paradigm shift with a broader impact.

This project is co-funded by AWS Technology- Internationalization.
